Priscilla Stilwell Joyner, beloved wife, daughter, granddaughter, and friend, passed away on October 22, 2025, at the age of 54.
Priscilla was born on August 16, 1971 in Charlotte, North Carolina to Ruth Ann Stilwell and William Bruce Stilwell, Jr. (Bill). Priscilla was a graduate of Charlotte Christian School and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her career was marked by dedication and excellence. Priscilla worked as Marketing Director at retirement and nursing facilities throughout the Southeast for over 30 years. Her work ethic, intelligence, and warmth left lasting impressions on all who worked alongside her.
In her later years, Priscilla lived in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, where she cherished her time with her husband Scott Joyner. Priscilla and her husband, Scott, enjoyed spending weekends at Lake Gaston in Virginia. Priscilla's presence will be missed by many friends and family. She delighted in spending time with family. It was her most precious joy in life.
Priscilla is survived by her husband, Scott Joyner, mother, Ruth Ann Stilwell, stepmother, Annette Stilwell, sisters, Shanna Hughett (and Matthew), Annie Burch (and Andy) and Erin Buda (and Chris), stepson, Nicholas Joyner, nieces, Sunshine Hughett, Pixi Hughett, and Isla Hughett. Also her aunt, Jo Ellen Hill (and Gregg). And cousins, Lauren, Constance, Robbie, Bryan, Libby, Kiki and Jimmy. As well as numerous other family members and friends whom she loved dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Hawthorne Lane United Methodist Church, 501 Hawthorne Lane, Charlotte, North Carolina 28204. Family and friends are invited to gather after the service in the Fellowship Hall to share memories and honor Priscilla's beautiful life.
