Priscilla Moreno, age 45, of Rockport, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones at Christus Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born in Taft, Texas, to Joe V. Moreno and Ida Ramirez. Priscilla is preceded in death by her father, Joe V. Moreno; her maternal grandparents, Christobal and Dominga Garza; and her paternal grandparents, Juan Salazar Moreno and Antonia Villareal Moreno.
She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Ida Ramirez Moreno of Rockport, Texas; her husband, Armando Garza of Rockport, Texas; her brothers, Joe Moreno Jr. (Erica Gonzalez Moreno) of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Jacob L. Moreno of Rockport, Texas; her children, James Salazar of Rockport, Lucas and Isaac Garza of Rockport, Texas, Elizabeth Yardley (Michael J. Yardley) of Falfurrias, Texas, and Nicole Barbara Jean Huizar (Anthony Richard Dean Goben) of Rockport, Texas; her grandchildren, Kingston and Lavine Yardley, Atlas Kai McMullin, and Daniella Martlyan Salazar; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Priscilla had a versatile and hardworking spirit, contributing her skills in housekeeping, homemaking, painting, construction, and cashier work. She and her husband also co-owned a Paint & Drywall business. She found joy in writing Bible verses in her journal, spending time with her children, and sharing her love through cooking, especially making homemade tortillas. Her generosity, warmth, and heart of gold touched everyone who knew her. Priscilla will be remembered as a loving and respectful daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and grandmother. Her family and friends will cherish her big heart and the radiant smile she shared with all.
