Ms. Priscilla Hall Wolfe, 80, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025. She was born in Stokes County on January 2, 1945 to Lacky Creed Hall and Vallie Miller Hall. Priscilla had a wonderful personality and never met a stranger. She worked in healthcare for her whole life. Priscilla was a woman of strong faith, extreme strength, and independence. She had a servant’s heart and was abundantly generous. Priscilla was artistic and enjoyed writing poems and sharing in hopes to encourage others. She had many, many friends and would often remind her children to let her friends know how she loved each of them dearly. Priscilla will be deeply missed by all those who loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica LeAnn Burchette; great-granddaughter, Jypsiee AnnaLiese Mayfield; and siblings, Bobbie Taylor, Gaynell Hill, Jimmy Hall, and Don Hall. She is survived by her three children, Charles Lee Wolfe, III (Angie), Krista Lee Wolfe (Tony), and Lorie Wolfe Burchette; grandchildren, Christian Sizemore (Alexander), Jesse Lee Reavis (Bethany), Leslie Coleman (Chief), Charles Wolfe IV, and Tyrel Burchette; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Larry Hall (Donna), Joan Hutchens, Barry Hall, and Pam McDaniel (Donnie); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A memorial service will follow the visitation in the Gentry Family Chapel with Roger Miller officiating. Memorials may be made to New Horizons Adult Day Services, PO Box 1969 Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Mountain Valley Hospice for the loving and compassionate care given to Ms. Wolfe and her family, and to Ms. Wolfe’s friends and family who have been there to support them. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Wolfe family.
