January 3, 2026, of Huntingdon Valley, PA; devoted wife of Darren Check; adoring mother of Ethan Daniel Check, Maya Samara Check, and Aden Joshua Check; cherished sister of Sonya Wexler (Michael) and brother-in-law and sister-in-law of Matt & Ashlee Check. Priya is also survived by her loving parents, Sury & Sudha Jairaj (nee Swaminathan) and her in-laws, Dr. Jerome Check (Diane) and Deena Check.
Funeral Services are private. Relatives and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life, Saturday, January 10, 2026, 5:00pm at Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel, 8339 Old York Rd., Elkins Park, PA.
Shiva will take place at the late residence Friday, January 9, 2026 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Priya’s memory may be made to Funny Farm Rescue & Sanctuary
