Prudence "Prudy" Marinelli Jones, 88, of Neshannock Township passed away the morning of August 25, 2025 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.

Born in New Castle on August 24, 1937 Prudy was the daughter of the late Anthony and Helen Delanzo Marinelli.

On January 26, 1974 Prudy married her beloved husband, Thomas P. Jones. Tom preceded her in death on August 2, 2010.

Prudy had retired as Co-Owner and office manager of City Welding. She also had formerly owned and operated All My Children Clothing Store for many years. She had currently worked as officer manager at Superior Motorsport in New Castle.

Prudy was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. In the early years she was an avid bowler. Prudy also enjoyed spending time with her friends "Chicks of 56" and being on Facebook. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Prudy's greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Prudy is survived by her children, William Eakin, James Eakin (Denise), Lori Jones Bo (Samuel), Renee Jones Spencer (William), her brother Anthony Marinelli (Sandy), her sister, Clara Warner, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Prudy was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Marinelli and sister, Josephine Petro.

Visitation will be on Wednesday 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. A procession will leave the funeral home on Thursday at 12:15 p.m. for a Mass Of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. Father Benjamin Barr will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
