Qasim “Al” Alganzawy, son of the late Razrk Alganzawy and Fgre (Aziz) Alganzawy was born on July 7, 1966 in Samawah, Iraq and departed his life on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at his residence in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 59 years.

Al was a Veteran of the Army and moved to the United States in 1993.

Survivors include his fiancée, Kelly Baltzell; two brothers, Satar Alganzawy (Jennifer Voorhes) and Talib (Beeronica) Alganzawy; nieces Alexia McDaniel and Ashley Voorhes; nephews, Zach Baltzell and Josh McDaniel; great-nephew, Jaxton McDaniel; sister-in-law, Roxane Morris McDaniel; brother-in-law, Jake Wagner; also, several other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Wayne Baltzell.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 10:00 until 12:00 noon at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City, Missouri. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 following the visitation at Lindsey Cemetery in McClure, Illinois.
