Queen Pratt Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Funerals by T. S. Warden - Jacksonville on May 27, 2025.
Mrs. Queen Audrey Smith Pratt, affectionately known as "Hollywood" or "Queenie" was born on August 13, 1943, in Jacksonville FL to the late Ernest Bell and Ruby Smith Williams. Her earthly life ended on Monday, May 26, 2025, for an eternal life with God.
Queen accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of New Dimensions Church of God By Faith in
Jacksonville FL until death. She always spoke about her love of God and how He could do the impossible no matterhow things seem to the naked eye. One of her favorite sayings was "The Lord Will Fix It, Just You Wait And See!"
Queen attended Matthew W Gilbert High School in the early 1960s where she was a Majorette and developed the love for the subject of Science. She began her adult life working in various employment opportunities to include those of Toyota and Jacksonville Transportation Authority for many years, both of Jacksonville Florida.
Queen always had a zest for life, loving to entertain and celebrating her birthday to the fullest, creating good and
memorable times for all family and friends to cherish. She had a passion for antiquing and flea market shopping that she did on a regular basis, always looking for a good find and a good deal. She also loved football, seafood, and keeping up with world events via CNN and MSNBC. She simply loved life, family and friends immensely.
Queen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Pratt Jr. (Tootie); daughter, Angela Burnette Wise; son, Ernest Smith Sr.; mother, Ruby Williams; father, Ernest Bell; and grandparents, David and Irene Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Sharon Wise Wimberly (Timothy) of Orange Park, FL; grandchildren Devin Frazier, LaMonica James (James), Ernest Smith Jr., Aundray Wimberly, Denzell Smith, and Mia Smith; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends including: Mrs. Elizabeth Broomfield, Mrs. Dorothy Easton, Mrs. Willie Mae Shellman, Mrs. Shirlie Stokes, and cousins Eric Harris, Josephine Young, Gayle Mebane (Lawrence), Brenda Harris, Thomas Smith (Lisa), Timothy Mark Smith (Sandrea), Deborah Watts (Stevie), Ehue Timmons (Brenda), Bruce Williams (Olga), and the entire Young and Bowman family.
