R. Willis Poole

Coats, NC:  Mr. Robert Willis Poole, age 76, of 545 N. Orange Street, died Friday at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital in Dunn.  Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Monday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Coats.  Officiating will be the Rev. Glenn McCullen.   Burial will follow in Coats City Cemetery.              Mr. Poole was born September 12, 1939, in Harnett County, to the late Robert Waylon and Virginia Baker Poole.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Judy Savon Poole, and a grandson, James Robert Poole.  Mr. Poole was a retired supervisor with Dorothea Dix.             Surviving are wife of 57 years, Ethel Jernigan Poole; sons & daughters-in-law, Phillip Wayne & Pam Poole and Ronnie Lynn & Rebecca Poole, all of Coats; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Charles Monroe Poole of Coats; sisters, Betty Patrick of Lillington, Jewel Tysinger of Coats, and Brenda Allen of Apex; and several nieces and nephews.             Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Sunday.
