Rachel Lynn Davis, age 49, passed away on January 19, 2026. She spent most of her working life as a waitress at Waffle House, where she was known for her hard work, friendly spirit, and the care she showed to everyone she served. She also took great pride in being an avid LSU supporter.

Rachel was deeply loved by all who knew her, and her kindness, warmth, and love for her family will be remembered always.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Rhonda Dixon; children, Richard Davis, and Brittney Davis.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Charles Davis; children, Phyllis Davis, Karli Davis, and Destin Davis; father, Wilbur McKee; siblings, Ramona (Jeremy) Hobbs, James (Janine) Glenn, and Gabriel (Ashley) Glenn; grandchildren, Jaxon Davis, Grace Davis, Kara Walters, Leon Bruce, and Tiara Bruce; niece and nephew whom she loved as her own, Katelyn (Chris) Luker and Robby (Tessa) Busby; brother-in-law, Emery (Julia) Davis; loved her as their own, Larry and Kathy Gunn; numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
