Rachel Anne Gonzalez, age 52, passed away on March 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on July 26, 1973, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to her parents Enrique "Henry" Aleman Gonzalez, Jr. and Elma Cavazos Sanchez

A proud member of the Ray High School Class of 1992, Rachel carried her bold spirit and unmistakable presence everywhere she went. She was outspoken, unapologetically herself, and filled every room with humor, candor, and a warmth that drew people in. Her love for her family was boundless-steady, protective, and fierce in the most beautiful way.

Rachel had a passion for music and could often be found at concerts, singing along, soaking in the energy, and sharing those moments with the people she loved. She enjoyed all kinds of movies, from heartfelt dramas to the funniest comedies-anything that made her feel, think, or laugh.

She dedicated over 10 years to maintaining Shoreline Plaza, where her work ethic was unmatched. Rachel approached every task with pride and reliability, earning the respect and admiration of those who worked alongside her.

Rachel is survived by her loving parents, Henry and Elma (Ramiro); her sister Rebecca Frances Gonzalez; her brother David Gonzalez; her nieces and nephews Savanna, Brandon, and Jordan; and eight great-nieces and nephews, each of whom she nurtured, protected, and loved deeply. Her presence in their lives will remain an irreplaceable gift.

Funeral services for Rachel will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Public Viewing will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Seaside Funeral Home Stateroom, followed by the Blessing at 12:00 p.m.

A Graveside Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
