Rachel San Miguel

Rachel San Miguel entered eternal rest on February 5, 2026 at the age of 72. She was born on November 23, 1953 in Big Springs, TX to Daniel and Dolores (Garza) San Miguel.

Rachel was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a fantastic baker, skilled at making themed birthday cakes and cupcakes for her grandchildren. When not baking, Rachel enjoyed crafting holiday wreaths and working on puzzles. She was an active member of City Church. She loved a quiet morning, Hallmark Christmas movies, and spending time with her cat, Mesa.

Rachel is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Celia Watts; siblings, Daniel, Beatrice, Dorothy, Richard, and Patsy. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Isaac Montez; sisters, Olga San Miguel and Diane Prather; niece, Debbie Marquez; grandchildren, Destini Johnson, Steven Watts, Sheri Arciuch, Chantee Watts, Sean Watts, Seth Watts, Issac Montez, Christopher Montez, Jacob Montez, Raymond Montez, and Dominik Montez; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Isaiah Johnson, Noah, Nash, and Noxx Watts, Abraham Arciuch, Araceli and Issac D'Anthony Montez, Ayva and Luke Montez; numerous other loving family members and friends.

The family will be receiving guests from 3:00 PM – 7:00 P.M. on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. A celebration of her life will begin at 6:00 P.M.
