A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Rachel Ann Self, 83, will be Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Herring Cemetery with Bro. Scott Delashaw officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. No public visitation is scheduled.

Mrs. Self passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at her residence. She was born November 28, 1942, in Morgan County, to Reuben Edgar Reeder and Gusta Evie Dutton Reeder.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved the Lord. She was employed by General Electric, prior to her retirement and she also work as a lunchroom worker for a school for a time. She spent most of her time outside in her yard. She took pride in her home and loved watching her hummingbirds. The roses in heaven are prettier now that she is there.

Preceding her in death were her husband- Ross Self, a son- Danny Haley, her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include:

Sons- Darrell Haley and
David Haley,

Grandchildren -
Hollie Haley, Tyler Haley (Nikki),
Abigail Haley, Eli Haley (Katie),
and Morgan Haley.

Great Grandchildren - Draven Carpenter, Miley Reyes, Brooklyn Haley, and Danny Haley.

and four nieces.
