Stuart, FL and formerly of Lynn, MA - Rachel A. (Bourque) Suffriti, age 74, of Stuart, FL and formerly of Lynn, MA, died on August 27th, 2025 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family, following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of David Suffriti, with whom she shared over 54 years of marriage. Born on February 14, 1951, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Henri and Rita (Legere) Bourque. She was raised in Lynn, attended St. Jean's Grammar School, and graduated from Lynn Classical High School in 1969. Rachel built a successful career as a legal secretary, known for her diligence and professionalism and worked for many years as the office manager at the former Richardson Funeral Home in Lynn. She loved to travel and go on road trips. She was an excellent cook and liked to learn new recipes by watching cooking shows. More than anything, Rachel loved her family and always looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren.
Rachel will be dearly missed and is survived by her beloved husband David Suffriti; her loving children, Jodi Houghton and her husband James, and Jason Suffriti and his wife Hayley, as well as her grandchildren, Max Houghton, Claire Houghton, Evan Suffriti, and Nae Suffriti. She is also survived by her brother, Norman Bourque and his wife Marie, sister-in-law, Julie Burke, and her many nieces and nephews. Rachel is predeceased by her brother Paul Burke.
