Rachel was born on October 22, 1994, at 3:15 PM in Cleveland, Ohio, to her beloved parents, Rhonda Hall-Taylor and Joseph Dacus "JD" Taylor. The youngest of four, with three older brothers, Rachel was ''the one that mattered the most to everyone" and was the girl her mother had always dreamed of and wished for.
"Just a home girl," Rachel was all about family and friends, and loved getting together with everyone. She loved everybody and wanted everyone to be accepted and fit in just as she could.
Rachel was also a nerd-"not a Sheldon, but a gothic Penny." She enjoyed her sci-fi and Jack Skellington. She liked Hello Kitty, which included numerous greeting cards from her big brother, Dake. Her taste in music leaned towards heavy metal and music from Korn.
Well known for her good sense of humor, she was the spark that would get anybody laughing at any time, whether an appropriate time or not.
Sadly, Rachel's life became a semicolon, when she passed away suddenly on May 17, 2023, at the young age of 28. Her passing reunites her with her beloved father, J.D. Taylor.
Left to celebrate and remember the beautiful blessing that Rachel was, is her beloved and adored mother, Rhonda Hall-Taylor; her three overprotective and devastated older brothers, Josh (Amy), Dake (Natalie) and Jacob (Briana); her loving fiancé and in-laws, Devon Marek and his parents, Bob and Amy; her cherished nieces and nephews, Amber, Alex, Mariana, Alexis, Vivian, Julian, Isiah, Jayden, Ocean and Myana; and her treasured fur babies, Dexter, Monty, and Davie.
