Rachel M. Ulinski

Rachel Marie Dae (Caruso) Ulinski passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 22, 2023.
Rachel was the loving wife of 30+ years to Robert Ulinski and she was a wonderful mother to Dana Soltis (Evan), Stephen Ulinski and Ryan Ulinski.
She was the beloved daughter of Kathleen and John Caruso (pre-deceased).
Loving sister to Janice Caruso (Darryl Bragg), Mike Caruso (Maria), Jim Caruso (Kim), and was pre-deceased by her oldest brother John Caruso Jr. She was loving Daughter-In-Law to Marlene and Jerome Ulinski (pre-deceased)., Sister-In-Law to Val Ulinski (Diane), Joe Ulinski (Tammy), Thomas Ulinski, James Ulinski (Carolyn), Stephen Ulinski (Linda), and Jon Ulinksi (Maria).
She was Godmother to: Christopher Luke, Joshua Ulinski, John Michael Caruso, Luciano Caruso, Angela Ulinski and James Ulinski. She was an amazing Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews too numerous to list.
Rachel dedicated her life to teaching vocal music to students starting at East Detroit High School and she spent the remainder of her career at Armada Area Schools; where she was still employed. She took great pride in her groups and helping students both in and out of the classrooms. She accompanied musical productions in a number of different high schools and helped to make these productions awesome.
She was very involved with the Blue Star Mothers and was the recording secretary for the Blue Water 180 Chapter.
She was a long time girl scout both as a young girl and as a leader when her daughter was in scouts.
She was a beautiful, caring person who always had the best ideas. She always took the extra step to make everything she was involved in extra special. She will be deeply missed by so many people in so many ways.
Her latest accomplishment was to be invited to represent the state of Michigan at the 80th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor. To help make her dream a reality, please consider coming to her memorial luncheon at the Armada Fair Grounds which will be held on July 8th at 2 pm.
A funeral mass will be held in her honor on June 29th at 10 a.m. at St. Clements of Rome located at 343 S. Main Street, Romeo, MI 48065.
