Rae Boye Obituary
January 25, 1946 - July 27, 2025
RACINE - Rae Hope Boye, age 79, of Racine, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025.
Hope was born in La Crosse, Wis., on January 25, 1946, a daughter of the late Ray Emerald and Beatrice Marie (LaValley) Delap.
She was a graduate of Park High School.
Hope worked as a driver for the daycare for Wingspread for many years and was a huge Elvis fan.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Locke; her children, Donna Morgensen and Michael Matera; her stepson, Terry Nick (Natalie) Boye; her grandchildren, Abby Morgensen, Justice Morgensen; step-grandchildren, Isabelle and Leah Boye; great-grandchildren, Enando Elijah and Valentina Sophia Morgensen; her siblings, Kathleen (the late Ronnie) Arentz, and Dale Delap; and her nieces and nephews, Cynthia Barker, Joseph Rutkowski, Lori Beily, Paul Rutkowski, Adam Delap, and Amy Delap.
Along with her parents, Hope was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Locke, and several brothers and sisters.
A service celebrating Hope's life will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home. Private interment will take place in West Lawn Memorial Park.
A visitation will take place on Sunday from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
