Known for his strong will and direct manner, Rafael possessed a character forged in the heart of Michoacán. His life was a testament to hard work and perseverance. His adventurous spirit led him on remarkable journeys, including trips to Egypt, the Holy Land, and Germany. A particularly memorable highlight was his pilgrimage to Mount Sinai at the age of 70, a deeply spiritual experience that connected him to his faith.
