Rafiki Shaquille Frey

Rafiki Frey, born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, entered this world as a blessing to his mother, Tysie Frey. From the very beginning, his vibrant spirit and passion for life lit up the lives of all who knew him. Rafiki has now gone to rest in eternal peace, joining his beloved parents, Ivan, Norma, and Tysie, who welcomed him with open arms.
Music was Rafiki's heartbeat. He poured his soul into writing, producing, and creating sounds that carried his joy, pain, and dreams. Behind every note and every lyric was a piece of his heart, a gift he freely shared with those around him. His passion was not only his craft, but also the way he connected with people, always finding a way to lift spirits and leave a lasting impression.
Rafiki lived life with an outgoing, adventurous spirit. He cherished his time in Arizona, where he found peace, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Whether surrounded by friends, family, or strangers who quickly became friends, Rafiki had a rare way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and valued.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his siblings Myesha Frey, Zioen Frey, David Alston Jr., Myah Alston-Robertson, Dontae Robertson, Daylin Alston, and Nicki NeuNeu, along with many nieces and nephews who will forever hold him close in their hearts. Though his physical presence is gone, his legacy of love, music, and joy will echo endlessly.
