Ralph B. Babrisky, 84 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on August 4th, 2025 surrounded by his family. Ralph was born in Neptune, NJ and spent most of his life living in Morganville, before moving to Little Egg Harbor 13 years ago.
Ralph proudly served our nation in the United States Navy. He was the first mailman in Morganville in 1960 and worked for the US Postal Service for 40 years. Ralph was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Matawan, past president of the National Association of Rural Letter Carriers, captain of the Morganville First Aid Squad, life member of the Morganville Independent Fire Company and special officer and dispatcher for the Marlboro Police Department. He selflessly served his community throughout his career.
Ralph, who was lovingly known as Pop-Pop by his four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, was a devoted and proud family man. His favorite past times included collecting stamps, coins and historical memorabilia, especially relating to past wars. Ralph found joy in reading and playing tennis. He also appreciated the outdoors, proudly camping in nearly every state in the country, gardening in his yard and riding his Harley Road King motorcycle.
Ralph was predeceased by his parents John and Mary Babrisky and his first wife Alice Babrisky. He is survived by his loving wife Elaine of 23 years, son Gregory Babrisky and wife Jodi of Morganville, NJ, daughter Diane Klein and husband Jed of Howell, NJ, stepson Michael Leicht of Beachwood, NJ, stepdaughter Heather Leicht of Rochester, NY, brother John Babrisky Jr. of South Carolina, grandchildren Ashley Earley and husband Corey, Emily Sprigg and husband Joseph Jr., Nicole Boone and husband Jacob, Stephen Leicht and wife Alyssa and Thomas Connallon, and great-grandchildren Hunter, Jaxson, Alivia, Avery and Joseph III.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, August 10th, 2025 at 11am until 3pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. There will be a Memorial Service at 2:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Tuckerton Food Pantry at 148 N. Green St. Tuckerton, NJ 08087.
