Ralph "Morrie" Brawley

May 8, 1968 - November 17, 2024

Ralph Morrison "Morrie" Brawley, IV, 56, of Mooresville, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at his home.

He was born on May 8, 1968, in Statesville, NC, to the late Ralph Morrison Brawley IIII and Melissa Craven Brawley. Morrie was a graduate of Campbell University. He was a Horticulturist and an Eagle Scout.

He is survived by his sister, Bess Broyhill and husband, Rob; step-mother, Donna Combs Brawley; step-sister, Endia Plunkett and husband, Andrew; step-brother, Zack Mitchell; niece, Melissa Grace Broyhill; nephew, Clayton Morrison Broyhill; step-nephews, Andreas and Navarro Plunkett; aunt, Sherry Alexander; and cousins, Benjy Alexander, Leslie Peters and husband, Cory and their children, Cade and Remy.

In celebration of Morrie's life, a gathering will be held on Saturday, November 23, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Heritage House of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Lake Norman Humane, 2106 Charlotte Hwy, Mooresville, NC 28117.
