Ralph Glenn Brown, age 88 of Tangier, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born in Fountain County on January 19, 1936 to Morris Glen & Mary Catherine (Newnum) Brown.
Ralph graduated from Tangier High School in 1954 and worked as a fork truck driver at RR Donnelley's for 42 years. On August 7, 1988 he married Shirley Fay Biddle, who preceded him in death on April 18, 2021. In his earlier years, he was a Boy Scout Leader and enjoyed gardening, cooking, family gatherings, fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, and traveling.
He is survived by his two sons, Allen (Teresa) Brown of Kingman and Gene (Rajean) Brown of Bloomingdale; a stepdaughter, Melinda Dugger of Terre Haute; a stepson, Terry (Janie) Norris of Waynetown; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and a brother, Tom (Patty) Brown of Dana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris & Mary Brown; his wife, Shirley; and two great grandchildren, Eric Patton Jr and William Brown.
Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street in Kingman on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 11:00 am till the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Steve Crum officiating. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Miller Cemetery or Ephlin Cemetery. Share memories and condolences online at www.SandersFuneralCare.com.
