Ralph Earl “Bud” Treadwell, 95 of Siler City, formerly of Sanford, passed away Thursday October 24, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday November 9th at The Journey Church (17475 US-64, Siler City). The family will greet friends from 1:00 until 2:00 at the Church prior to the Memorial Service.
Bud was born in Westchester Co. to the late Charles Frederick Treadwell and Katherine Croft Treadwell. He served in the Navy for 4 years while stationed in Korea. He worked for IBM for 35 years. He enjoyed motorcycling and was a gifted saxophone player, playing in New York as well as in Pep Band at Grace Christian. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Cheryl Treadwell; grandson Jordan Andrew; and siblings Charles Treadwell, George Treadwell. And Jean Keenan.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years Betty Treadwell; daughters Linda Howell of CO, and Judy Gray of VA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and brother Richard Treadwell.
