Ralph Eugene Cronan
Ralph Eugene Cronan, 71, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on January 17, 2026 at his home. He was born August 17, 1954 in Cleveland County, NC, son of the late Woodrow and Sarah Styers Cronan and was preceded in death by a brother, James "Dub" Cronan and a sister, Judy Cronan. Ralph was affectionately known to his family and friends as "Dusty", and by others as "Antique Man". Dusty was an avid collector of all things old. He loved antique cars and collected several over the years. His collection extended to glass wear, Victrola record players, old vintage signs and really anything old. He enjoyed visiting flea markets and meeting people who shared his love for all things old. Dusty worked for Clevemont Mills "Fruit of the Loom" for over 20 years until their closing and worked at Red Valve for some time until he was injured on the job and no longer able to continue working. Dusty loved his family and was always available to help with any task they needed from him. He was a wonderful father, brother, and friend who will be missed greatly by all those who knew and loved him.
