Bridgeport, Connecticut, to Robert and Marie Del Vecchio. He was the eldest of two sons and grew up in North Bay Shore, where he formed lifelong interests and passions that stayed with him throughout his life-and where he also built friendships that endured a lifetime.
In 1990, Ralph married Barbara, with whom he shared a devoted partnership and built a loving family. Together they raised two daughters, Abby and Olivia, who were the pride and joy of his life. Ralph was the biggest supporter of his precious family, always present, encouraging, and fiercely devoted to those he loved most. In 1999, Ralph and his family made their home in Port Jefferson Station, where he remained a dedicated husband, father, and friend.
