It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph P. DeLuca on March 11, 2024. Ralph was the son of Dominic and Anna DeLuca. Ralph was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, friend, and cherished member of the Danvers community.
Ralph was predeceased by the love of his life, Patricia (Quirk) DeLuca, whose memory he held dear until the end. Together, Ralph and Patricia built a life filled with love, dedication, and enduring memories.
Ralph's legacy is one of hard work and commitment. For over 40 years, he served the Danvers community as a member of the Department of Public Works. His tireless efforts helped maintain the infrastructure of the town he called home, and his dedication earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and neighbors alike.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ralph was known for his larger-than-life personality and infectious sense of humor. Whether he was driving through town, greeting friends with his trademark shout of "young fella," or charming everyone he met with his irresistible smile, Ralph had a way of brightening the lives of those around him.
Ralph's greatest joy in life was his family. He leaves behind a proud and loving legacy. He is survived by his sons, Robert of Danvers and his fiancée, Linda Corneau, Brian of Derry, NH; daughter, Pamela Thompson and her husband Jim of Lewiston, ME and Donna (DeLuca) MacLean of NH, his beloved grandchildren, Jennifer Cummings and her husband, Peter, Ashley Delgado and her husband Dan, Alicia DeLuca, R.J Churchill, Robert, Mark, Craig, Ryder DeLuca and Alex MacLean and his wife, Nicole, as well as his great-grandchildren, Harrison, Natalie, Lyra, Koda, Amberlee, Aiden, and Hayden, his siblings Mary Pierce of Tampa, FL and brother Dominic "Butch" and his wife Kathleen of Danvers and brother-in-law James Quirk of Fort Lauderdale, FL as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Ralph was predeceased by his brothers Paul and Sam and many loving in-laws.
Ralph's passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew him, but his memory will be cherished forever. May his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness live on in the hearts of those he touched, and may he rest in eternal peace.
His graveside service will be held at 11:30AM on Saturday, March 16, 2024 in Annunciation Cemetery, 155 Hobart St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers donations in Ralph's name may be made to the Danvers Senior Center The Friends of the Danvers Council on Aging, 25 Stone St., Danvers, MA, 01923.
