Ralph Guzman Obituary

Ralph was born on April 18, 1958 in the Bronx, NY and lived there for most of his life. Ralph loved watching sports, listening to rock music and spending time with his family. He spent the later years of his life in service to his community; helping those in need to buy groceries and run errands. He referred to that as his job, though he performed these tasks out of kindness and a desire to be helpful. Coincidentally, his generosity evokes the words of another Ralph - "The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Ralph Guzman was loved dearly by his many surviving brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many other family, friends, and those in the community he served. Although we are heartbroken by his passing, we are proud that his life was a life lived well.
