Ralph Clark Lawrence

Ralph Lawrence (81) left this world July 7, 2025 with his kids and grandkids by his side. Ralph enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling.
He was born in OKC on July 19, 1943. He spent most of his childhood in the Midland/Odessa, Texas area and enjoyed summers at grandma Davis's house playing with cousins.
He met his beautiful wife in OKC where they married on November 24, 1962. They spent their honeymoon in the big town of Wewoka, Oklahoma. They welcomed their first child, William Clark Lawrence (Billy), on September 4, 1963 and daughter, Kristi LeAnn (Kricket), years later on December 9, 1971.
The couple celebrated 54 years of blissful marriage.
Ralph chose a career in truck driving in the early 1970's, where he carried bombs to undisclosed areas around the US for the military during the Vietnam War. In the 1980's, he drove long haul for Transcon and Leeway. He spent the latter part of his career as a gas hauler locally for Penley Oil Company. After 57 years behind the wheel, he retired in 2005, where he enjoyed time with his grandkids and traveling with his wife.
Ralph will be remembered for knowing every mile-marker in every state!
He was a hardworking man who always put his family first. He was definitely one of a kind! He had a kind soul who had a witty humor with ample sarcasm. He had a generous heart and a story for everything. If you had a problem, he would offer you a beer and a seat on his porch swing anytime.
Even in the hospital, Ralph was trying to use his humor to cheer us up. He asked Billy and Gage to bring him a beer. Coors would be best! He told Kristi and Madison they were beautiful, but he was prettier. All of us were his "Little shits."
Ralph is survived by his son, Billy Lawrence; his daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Steve Benedetto of Moore; his granddaughter and her husband, Madison and Cody Norwood of Yukon; and his grandson, Gage Benedetto.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Saundra Lawrence and sister, Onean Harris.
