RALPH GILBERT MALLORY Jr.

MALLORY, Ralph Gilbert Jr. Of Belmont, MA, died peacefully at home on March 12, 2023, from complications of Parkinson's. Born September, 27, 1937, in Derby, CT, to Ralph Gilbert Mallory Sr. and Lillian Mae Heinz. Raised in Orange, CT, and graduated in 1957 from Amity Regional High School in Woodbridge, CT. Ralph received an AA degree from New Haven College in 1960, a BA from Boston University in 1962. A member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and played intramural hockey. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army and Massachusetts National Guard. Ralph was a furniture manufacturers representative in the U.S. and Canada. He owned the Mallory Group and Show and Tell Sports. He coached youth hockey in Hingham and Belmont. Ralph co-coached the 1991 Belmont Squirt and Bantam teams to Massachusetts State championships. He loved his family first, then hockey, golf, and cars. Ralph married Marjorie Henslee first and had Ralph "Gil" Mallory III (Kyle) of Tampa, FL and Katherine "Carrie" Walker (Dave) of Charlotte, NC. Ralph married Sharon Atkinson second and had Ross Mallory (Tracey) of Denver, CO. He also leaves grandsons, Thomas and Michael Walker; and was predeceased by Lucas Mallory of Denver, CO. A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date, rogersfuneralhome.net. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation, a foundation meaningful to the family.
