Ralph Lindsey Muhlebeck, 94, of Fort Plain, NY, passed away on September 5, 2025, at St. Mary's Healthcare of Amsterdam.

He was born on June 18th, 1931, in Fort Plain, NY, the son of Lindsey Berthold and Hazel Muhlebeck.

After graduating from high school, he joined the US Army, serving from 1948-1955, where he obtained the rank of Corporal . Following his service, he worked at Beech-Nut as a forklift operator until his retirement in April 1994.

He lived in the local area most of his life.

In his spare time, he enjoyed doing puzzle books and reading. In his younger years, he enjoyed bowling and golf.

On April 1, 1967, in Troy, NH, he married Ruth Ann Trumble. She predeceased him on December 19, 2022. He was also predeceased by his first wife, Janet Bowler.

Survivors include his children, Deborah Ann Redner of Fort Plain, NY, Arthur (Stephanie) Muhlebeck of Rome, NY, Tammy (Eric) Beauregard, of Fort Plain, NY and Michael (Andrea) Muhlebeck of Canajoharie, NY; sister Carolyn Cook of Fort Plain, NY; grandchildren Heather Mosher, Nicole Mosher, Julia (Ryan) Williams, Jonathan (Patty) Muhlebeck, Cullen (Luz) Beauregard, Peter (Gabriele) Beauregard, and Emery Frew; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Graveside service will take place on Friday, September 12th, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Freysbush Cemetery, where Ralph and Ruth will be laid to rest. Following the interment, the family invites everyone to join them at the South Minden Fire House, Rt 163, Fort Plain, NY 13339, for a celebration of life, starting at noon.

Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in his memory, please consider the South Minden Fire Dept., 1029 State Highway 163, Fort Plain, NY 13339.
