Ralph M. Novy

Ralph Michael Novy, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, great-uncle, and cherished friend, passed away early in the morning on February 17, 2026.

Ralph was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 58 years, Alta L. Jacobus Novy; his mother Marcella, and father Edmund; a brother; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and a nephew.

He is survived by his four children: Teresa Novy; Ronald Novy; Andy Novy and Arleen; and Mark Novy (Jana). He is also survived by his sister, Sharon Augustine (Wally); his brother, Edmund Novy and his wife, Ellen; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; six nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews, and many cousins.

Ralph dedicated more than 50 years of service in the Adventist church system in schools, hospitals and youth camps, in various roles including maintenance and bus driving. His work ethic and quiet dedication touched many lives over the decades.

He was known for his generous heart and willingness to help anyone in need — often before they even realized they needed help. Ralph never met a stranger. He loved to talk, especially about his family, who were his greatest pride and joy.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, both young and old. His passing leaves a profound void in the lives of his family and friends, but his kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will continue to live on in their hearts.
