Ralph Eldridge Parker Sr., 83, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024. He was born on July 8, 1940, to the late Charlie and Rona Parker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Parker, and brother, Gene Parker.
Prior to retirement, Ralph was employed in the Grocery business for 40 years, and he was a member of New Town Baptist Church.
Ralph is survived by his sons, Ralph Parker Jr. (Kim), Anthony Parker (Shelly); daughter, Susan Duncan (Stan); brothers, Stanley Parker (Donna), Dale Parker; sisters, Myra Camp, Gale Pelfrey; grandchildren, Nathan Parker, Becky McReynolds, Stanton Duncan (Hannah), Stewart Duncan (Kelli), Steven Duncan (Heather), Ariel Gallman, Keaton Parker, Bryson Parker; great-grandchildren, Carson, Cole, Logan and Camden Duncan, Jayla Bowman, Aubrey Bowman, Grayson Parker, Callie Parker, Sky Mahon, Sparrow Mahon, Summer Mahone, and Sarah West.
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Ralph Parker Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers are Nathan Parker, Stanton Duncan, Steven Duncan, Stewart Duncan, Alan Walker, and Shaun Mulkey. Honorary pallbearers are Keaton Parker, Bryson Parker, and Grayson Parker.
