Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois E. Platts, his grandson Ryan Lloyd, and brothers Robert and John Platts
Ralph is survived by his daughters Donna (Mark) Lloyd, and Sandra (James) Deane, and Linda Bookleiner. He was the proud grandfather of James Deane, Jr., Kassandra Deane, the late Ryan Lloyd, Collin Bookleiner, and Kerilee Bookleiner, and the cherished great-grandfather of Nora Rhae Lloyd, Nolan Bookleiner, and John Bookleiner.
Ralph worked alongside his brothers at Platts Bros. Construction, where he dedicated many years of hard work. Outside of work, he was an avid golfer and bowler, proudly achieving both a hole-in-one on the golf course and a perfect 300 game at the lanes.
Mr. Platts honorably served in the United States Army, and he and his wife will be laid to rest together at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
