Ralph Adolph Riba (94) passed from this earthly life into Heaven on August 8, 2025 after a lifetime of faithful service to his family and above all, to his Savior. He was born on December 17, 1930 in DeValls Bluff, AR. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years Patsy Marie Anderson Riba. His parents Adolph Riba and Ruby Ruth Myers Riba. His brothers Paul Riba and J. W. Riba. His sisters Frances Curtis and Jessie Ruth Prince.

He is survived by his son Fred Riba (Barbara) of Mabelvale, AR and his daughter Cindy Ostedgaard (Greg) of Greenbrier, AR.

He was lovingly called “Poppy” by his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His grandchildren are Michael Middleton (Leigh), William Riba (Rebekah), Tiffany Brown, Spencer Riba (Alice) and Jacob Riba. His great grandchildren are Ethan Riba, Ariel Mitchell, Audrey Middleton, Elaina Riba, Kaleb Holliman, Adalyn Riba, Owen Riba, Benjamin Riba, Gracie Riba and Samuel Riba, Melody Lipscomb and Theodore Riba (coming soon). His sister Ethel Doom and brother Lawrence Riba. And many nieces and nephews he adored.

He was a simple and quiet man. He loved the Lord with all his heart. He always worked hard, didn’t ask for much and was always happy to help anyone in need. His family meant the world to him.

A special thank you to two very special pastors in his life Bro. David Walker and Bro. Randy Long. You held a very special place in his heart.

Visitation will take place Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 1:30pm followed by a funeral beginning at 2pm at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.
