My deepest and most sincere condolences to you Marilyn, your family, and friends for the passing over of Dave. I had the most pleasure and privilege to work with Dave for six years from Nye Avenue to Bigelow Street. We often rode together for safety and each time we worked together I knew it was going to be a good day. I was taken back by the fact that Dave was a very strong individual, but had the heart and demeanor of a true gentleman with a gentle kindness not seen in many men. Much praise is given at the time when people depart us, in the passing of time these words become a diminishing echo, but as with Dave, the legacy of the man he is will inevitably influence our hearts, our minds, and our actions. As Dave enters the afterlife, there will be cheers and honors given to him. The Duke has arrived home. God bless you Dave, you did well.
