Ralph Anthony Schindler Sr.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph Anthony Schindler, Sr., age 91, born in New Orleans to the late Henry Paul Schindler and Irma Williams Schindler. He passed peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

Ralph is survived by the love of his life, married 71 years to Audrey Hart Schindler, children Karen Ziebol, Mark Schindler (Jeannie), Greg Schindler (Melissa), Kristie Zibilich (Danny), Kendra Coco (Matt) and Ralph Schindler, Jr. (Jenny). He was a cherished grandfather to 20 grandchildren, including two who had gone before him, and a proud great-grandfather to 12 great-grandchildren. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who know and love him.

A graduate of St. Aloysius High School, Class of 1953, Ralph was known for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering commitment to his family and friends. He touched countless lives with his kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ralph's life at a memorial service this Saturday at 10:00 AM at Greenwood Funeral Home, followed by burial at Greenwood Cemetery. This gathering will honor the many ways Ralph enriched the lives of others and the enduring impact of his love and guidance.
