Ralph J. Suny “Sonny”, age 54, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on May 28, 2023.
Born in Upper Darby, PA in 1968, Ralph was the son of the late Robert and Adele (nee Ruffo-Green) Suny. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend to many. Ralph loved music, especially Aerosmith, the Beatles, and Ozzy Osbourne. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Ralph worked as a craftsman in the flooring business. He was also an artist and a jack of all trades. Ralph was known for his great sense of humor.
Ralph was the loving father of Sara Suny-Brown (Shawn), Ralph R. Suny (Rose), Robert A. Suny, Victor Abarca (Nina), Adam Abarca, and the late Raymond Suny; caring grandfather of Olivia Abbott, Charlotte Brown, Aiden Suny, Andrew Suny, Ava Abarca, Addie Abarca, and Sienna Abarca; caring brother of George L. Suny, Adele P. Suny, Natalie S. Torpey, and Bobbi Ann Suny; also survived by the mother of his children, Marianne Suny.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00 AM-12:00 PM Saturday, June 3, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, 610-449-0300, followed by his Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Interment private. The family encourages everyone to wear their favorite band t-shirt to the service.
