Ralph Raymond Whitacre

Ralph Raymond Whitacre, 74, of Falconer, NY, passed away in his home on Monday, December 29, 2025. He was born in Cherry Creek, NY on February 13, 1951, to the late Clarence and Alice Park Whitacre.
Ralph enlisted in the US Army where he served from 1971 – 1973. He then spent years working for Valeo.
Ralph loved the outdoors, especially fishing, snowmobiling, hunting, and gardening. In his younger years, he enjoyed camping with family, including boating and swimming. He also enjoyed making hay and running around on his tractor and out in the field. Ralph could often be seen riding his motorcycle and savored the time he spent at his home in Florida.
Ralph will be missed by his children, Raymond (Kimberly) Whitacre and Tabitha Whitacre (husband Phil Ricotta); his grandchildren, Britteny Whitacre, Brandyn (Allison) Whitacre, and Dalton (Kylee) Whitacre; 6 great grandchildren; as well as many siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Besides his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his sister, Kate.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 5-7pm on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Lind Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
