It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ralph Whited, Jr., age 66, who died on Sunday, January 4, 2026. Ralph was born on Saturday, October 31, 1959, in St. Louis, Missouri to the late William “Bud” Whited, Sr. and Edna May (Umfleet) Whited.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Gracie (Bone) Whited of Ironton, Missouri; two sons, Benjamin Whited & fiancé Anna Hayes of Ironton, Missouri and William Whited of Fredericktown, Missouri. Also surviving are three bonus children: Erica and husband Nathan Anderson, Emily Haus and fiancé Jake Blum, and Dedra Shaw and fiancé Dakota Files; three grandchildren: Isiah Whited, Brooke Elizabeth Whited and Bailey Whited and five bonus grandchildren; Lane Anderson, Hannah Anderson, Kylie Crider, Millie Blum and Opal Files. Ralph leaves behind two sisters: Beverly and husband Vince Schutte and Joyce McHenry, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who cherished him.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry Whited.
Ralph found his greatest joy in spending time with his family. He loved the outdoors, whether fishing, hunting, or riding four-wheelers—and felt most at peace surrounded by nature. He also found great joy spending time with his furry, canine companion, Tater. He will be remembered for his warm heart, his deep love of the outdoors, and his unwavering devotion to those he loved. Ralph’s presence brought comfort and joy to everyone around him, and his memory will live on through the laughter, stories, and love shared by all who knew him.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Howard Casteel officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Ralph will be buried at Three Rivers Cemetery with his parents on a future date. Memorials may be made to the Annapolis Church of the Nazarene. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son - Bryson Chapel.
