Ralph Wurtz, of Aynor, South Carolina passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025 in his residence. He was born on March 11, 1943, the son of Frederick Wurtz and Bernice Cirak Wurtz.
Ralph was a proud USAF Vietnam Veteran that served from 1960 to 1980. He was a devoted member of the American Legion Post 1619 in West Plattsburgh, NY.
Ralph loved golfing, fishing, watching old westerns, drinking beer, and “stuff like that.” He liked working on puzzles and building model airplanes.
Ralph is survived by his sister Deborah Amoroso, daughter Elona Sciotti, son David Wurtz, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Helene Wurtz.
A graveside service with full military honors will occur in the spring at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
