Ramiro "Rick" Alexander Martinez, 65, of Victoria, Tx, passed away on August 22, 2025. He was born in Port Lavaca on August 17, 1960, to the late Esaias Martinez and Mary Ann Guerra Martinez.
He was compassionate and a loyal caregiver to his mother and father, always offering his time and love without hesitation. A generous friend to all who knew him, he had a warm, easy presence that made people feel welcome. As a talented painter, he took pride in brightening people's homes, not just with color but with his cheerful spirit and great sense of humor.
He is survived by his daughters, Rita Martinez (Navjot Singh) of Florida and Anna Martinez of Victoria,
Sisters, Judy Orozco (Jesus) of Colorado, Lois Perez (Santiago) of Port Lavaca, Tx and Linda Ruddick (Gary) of Victoria, Brother, Gilbert Martinez of Victoria, Tx,
He is also survived by his loving Grandchildren, Lauren, Leean, Christopher, Isaiah, Fred and Reanna.
Great-Grandchildren, Grayson and Ivory and Kylynn.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Angel Lucy's Funeral Home in Port Lavaca, Tx from 5pm until 8pm with a Holy Rosary to begin at 6pm.
Visitation will continue Friday August 29, 2025, at 9am with a chapel service to begin at 10 am. Burial to follow at Port Lavaca Cemetery,
Pallbearers will be Gilbert Martinez, Gary Ruddick, Robert Garza, Christopher Cardenas, and Padrick O' Neil.
