Ramnik Vohra

Lovingly known as Bobby, Ramnik Vohra, unexpectedly passed away on October 21st, 2023 in Sacramento, California at the age of 54. His departure has left his family and friends heartbroken.
Ramnik is survived by his wife of 32 years, Geeta, his sons Abhimanyu and Rohit Vohra, and his sisters Nupur, Poonam, and Arti. Ramnik spent several weeks recently with all three of his sisters in India. He also spent countless hours with his sons, listening to music, chatting, and teaching them his work.
Bobby was born on January 13th,1969 in New Delhi, India to Mohan Lal and Asha Vohra. He spent his childhood playing sports and being doted on by his sisters. He moved to California in 1991 after marrying his "Geet." Ramnik embraced Geeta's large family and treated them like his own. He was a beloved brother-in-law (to Geeta's nine siblings) and the favorite uncle of many nieces and nephews. Ramnik spent the last two decades as a licensed contractor running his business, Cal Vohra Painting. He was passionate about his work and made friends through each project he worked on.
He loved the outdoors and spent many weekends camping or adventuring in the mountains or by a lake. He enjoyed snowboarding, jet skiing, four-wheeling, and trying everything with his sons. They have fond memories of being in nature with their dad. He also loved singing old Hindi songs and was always ready to dance.
Ramnik was known for his bold choices and for forging his own path. He leaves a void in our lives that cannot be filled. All that he loved lives on through his sons, who he adoringly called Pari and Beta. His friends and family will miss his beautiful smile, his generous nature, and his big hugs.
