Ramon Gonzalez, Jr., of
Orlando, Florida, a native of
New Haven, CT, entered his eternal rest peacefully with family by his side on Monday, December 29, 2025. He was born on June 29, 1976, to Bethsaida Encarnacion and Ramon Gonzalez.
Ramon, known affectionately to his loved ones as "Curro", is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Bethsaida Encarnacion, and his father, Ramon Gonzalez. He is also survived by his children, Ramon P. Gonzalez, Bianca Gonzalez, Linoshka M. Gonzalez, and Nomar K. Gonzalez, and their respective mothers, Annette Fico, Leasley Negron, and Rosemary Garcia. He was also the proud grandfather to Nikko Gonzalez. He will be deeply missed by his siblings, Luz Ocasio (Carlos Santana), Freddie Gonzalez, and Rebecca Gonzalez (Carlos Garcia), and his nieces and nephews, Cassandra Correa, Jasmine Gonzalez, Giancarlo Ocasio, Alexander Gonzalez, Giovanni Ocasio, and Ethan Garcia. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Luz, whom he constantly reminded the family he was her favorite, and Eugenio Encarnacion, and paternal grandparents Genoveva and Tacio Gonzalez.
Ramon had a special relationship with all his cousins, whom he thought of as siblings. He had a special brotherly bond with his cousin Peter Encarnacion, who was always there for him regardless of the distance. He loved all his aunts and uncles, especially his Titi Cucha, Ruth Encarnacion and Titi Tita, Maria Rivera (Luis). His uncles Lucas (Virginia) Encarnacion, Josue D. (Maritza) Encarnacion, Josue S. Encarnacion, Josue D. (Mary) Encarnacion, and predeceased by Neftali Encarnacion.
Ramon was proud of his most recent endeavor of opening his own construction company, Lino Caulking. He loved sending pictures to his loved ones of his jobs and hanging off skyscrapers.
Ramon will always be remembered by his friends and family as a loyal person. Countless times he put himself aside for those in his circle. The family will deeply miss his amazing sense of humor, his sarcastic remarks, and his infectious laughter. The family would like to thank all those who phoned and prayed for Ramon. The hole in our family will only be filled by the memories of whom he has left behind and the hope that he is now resting and we will someday be together again.
