Ramon Jaramillo
Ramon Jaramillo, 66, beloved Father, Brother, Grandfather and Friend, was called to his eternal resting place on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. Ramon passed away at The Hospitals of Providence in El Paso, TX.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Ballard Funeral Home, with a memorial service to follow immediately at 2:00 pm with Fred Sosa officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.
Ramon was born on June 16, 1957 in Roswell, NM, to Eleno and Gertrude Jaramillo.
In his later years, Ramon renewed his walk with Christ. Ramon was a principled man of integrity and believed in God, family, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Ramon was preceded in death by: Eleno and Gertrude Jaramillo (parents), Richard Jaramillo (brother), Margie Harrell (sister) and Marcelino Jaramillo (brother).
Ramon leaves to cherish his memory: daughter LaDonna (Jaramillo) Smith and husband Michael Smith Sr., of Fort Worth, TX; son Carlos Jaramillo, of Roswell, NM; grandchildren Crystal Jaramillo, Yvette Sillers, Michael Smith Jr and Mila Smith; great grandson Jhael Maldonado; sisters Cathy Walters, Mary Sosa, Trinie Aguilar, Eva Gutbrod, Helen Arriaga, Beatrice Rios; brother Pat Jaramillo; and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Michael Smith Sr., Luis Maldonado, Ronald Smith, Pat Jaramillo, Adam Chavarria and Mario Aguilar.
He will be greatly missed by the many who knew and loved him.
