Austin Wulf Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory - Roswell on Mar. 17, 2026.
Austin Wallace Wulf, 33, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born in Roswell, New Mexico, on June 7, 1992, Austin was the cherished son of Dr. Lisa Reinecke-Huffstutler and Dr. David Huffstutler. He was lovingly raised by his mother, Lisa, alongside his adoptive father, Thomas Wulf, and stepmother, Dawn Wulf.

Austin graduated from Gateway Christian High School and went on to earn a degree in kinesiology from Texas Tech University. At the time of his passing, he was a dedicated scribe in the emergency department at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Known for his leadership skills and strong work ethic, Austin was admired by his colleagues and friends, often entertaining them with his clever impressions of presidents both past and present.

A passionate outdoorsman, Austin found his greatest joy in hunting and fishing. His adventurous spirit led him from the wilds of Africa to the shores of Mexico, but his heart belonged to the vast landscapes of Alaska, where he spent considerable time exploring and seeking new adventures.

Austin had a unique ability to connect with people, embodying warmth and kindness that put everyone at ease. His friendships were deep and enduring, a testament to his genuine loyalty and affable nature.

He leaves behind his beloved parents, siblings, extended family, and a wide circle of friends who will forever cherish his memory. Austin will be remembered for his charisma, humor, and the remarkable way he touched the lives of those around him.

A Memorial service to celebrate Austin's life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 21, at Christ's Church, 2200 N. Sycamore Ave., Roswell, New Mexico. All who knew and loved Austin are invited to attend.
