Richard Wulf Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Mar. 13, 2026.
Richard Harry Wulf of Waukesha passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at the age of 94.

Richard was born on July 21, 1931, in Muskego, Wisconsin, to Otto and Violet (née Witt) Wulf. He graduated from Waukesha High School and went on to build a life centered around hard work, family, and the simple joys of everyday living. On July 21, 1957, he married the love of his life, Marilyn (née Scherger). Together they shared many wonderful years and were blessed with four children.

Richard spent many years working as a truck driver before his well-earned retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and spending time outdoors. Above all, Richard cherished time spent with his family and friends and was always happiest when surrounded by those he loved.

He is lovingly survived by his children, Richard "Rick" Wulf, Lori Eastmead, Nancy (Michael) Waldschmidt, and Julie (Mike) Fabisiak; his grandchildren, Jeremy (Christine) Eastmead, Tabitha Eastmead, and Mikaela Fabisiak; and his great-grandchildren, Brandon, Hailey, Leianna, Kiley, Faith, Brianna, Payton, and Waylon. He is further survived by his two siblings, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

Richard will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his dedication to family, and the many memories he created with those closest to him.

Visitation will take place on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church (470 N. Oak Crest Dr, Waukesha, WI 53183), beginning at 11:00 a.m. and continuing until the start of the service at 12:00 p.m.

Military Honors and burial will immediately follow at Salem Cemetery in Wales.

Richard's family wishes to thank all those who have offered support and kindness during this difficult time.
