Ramon M. Narvaez, 68, passed away in the comfort of his home on January 17, 2026. Ramon was born on August 1, 1957 to Jose R. Narvaez, Sr. and Agapita M. Narvaez in
Corpus Christi, Texas where he was raised his entire life. He graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1975 before continuing his education at Del Mar College, Corpus Christi State University and the University of Texas at San Antonio. He dedicated his life to the classroom, for nearly 30 years Ramon taught seventh grade Texas history. He had such a passion for the subject and enjoyed molding generations of young minds during his time as a teacher. He did this all while continuing to grow in his faith with his beloved wife. Ramon married Diana Salinas Narvaez on June 20, 2000 in Reno, Nevada. Ramon and Diana were inseparable; they worked together for many years before becoming devote parishioners at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Ramon would volunteer his time at the church in various ways; his summers spent caring for the youth and teaching them to grow in their faiths. He was a vital member of the E.D.G.E. Youth Group where he mentored and taught scripture to middle school students. He was a proud third-degree member of the Knights of Columbus and assisted in many A.C.T.S. Men's retreats. The main pillars of these groups being adoration, community, theology, and service – Ramon tried his best to uphold these pillars in every aspect of his life. He would volunteer at numerous shelters in the community, but it was during the Christmas season that Ramon's kindness and generosity would truly show. Ramon and Diana were the creators of Project C.O.O.K.I.E.S. (Christians Offering Others Kindness in Edible Sweets) a donation-based passion project that grew exponentially over the years. Every Christmas Eve for ten years Ramon, Diana and a group of their closest friends and family would visit different shelters around town to share homemade baked goods, warm clothes, toys, and the Christmas spirit with their residents. Ramon's generosity, kindness, and humor will be truly missed. He always had a smile on his face, no matter what life was throwing at him. Even through his long and arduous health journey Ramon always remained a loving father, brother, and grandparent.
Ramon is preceded in death by his wife Diana Salinas Narvaez, father Jose R. Narvaez, Sr., mother, Agapita M. Narvaez, brother Jose Narvaez Jr, sister-in-law Esther, nephew Orlando Narvaez, Jr. and great niece Leana Marie Stephenson.
