Ramona J. Cameron

COLEBROOK – Ramona Jean Cameron, 73, of Colebrook, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Friday evening, March 27, 2026, at the Coos County Nursing Hospital after a period of declining health.

She was born in Hartford, Conn., on Oct. 20, 1952, a daughter to the late Wilfred and Elsie (Stevens) Noyes. After her parents returned to the north country, Ramona attended school in Pittsburg and was a 1972 graduate of Pittsburg High School.

She worked for more than 30 years as a CNA and LNA, first in Tennessee and then at CCNH when she and her family returned again to Colebrook. She loved flowers and gardening, doing puzzles and Sudoku. Her pride and joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved baking cookies and breads for them and others. In her earlier years, she also used to enjoy going fishing with her husband and sightseeing for moose in Pittsburg.

Ramona is survived by her husband, Warren Cameron of Colebrook; two daughters, Stacey (Timothy) Elliott and Shannon Farley of Colebrook; four brothers: Thomas Lewis of Bellevue, Neb., David Noyes of Laconia, N.H., Alan Noyes of Claremont, N.H., and Bradley Noyes of Lakeland, Fla.; her sister, Debra Lewis of Tampa, Fla.; five grandchildren: Tyler (Brittany) Chamberlain of Gorham, N.H., Cole Washburn of Colebrook, Kelly Farley of Vermont, Matthew Cameron of N.H., and Cheyenne (Benjamin) Smith of Colebrook; and eleven great-grandchildren, five nieces and five nephews.

There are no public calling hours. A graveside service will be held on a later date, of which notice will be given, in the Colebrook Village Cemetery.
