Ramona Jo Gnann

Ramona Jo Gnann, beloved mother to Zane Gnann, Keystone Heights, Monteen Pillay (Chris), St. Johns, Renee Boyett (Keith), St. Augustine, and grandmother to her four grandchildren, Wyatt Boyett, Roanoke, VA, Tucker Boyett and fianc, Miranda Henderson, Athens, GA, Easton Pillay, Arlington, VA and Berkeley Pillay, Duluth, GA, was born in Ludell, Kansas on February 15, 1931 and passed away April 30, 2025, after a months-long illness. She is also survived by her brother, Louis Samson, Atwood, KS and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Arlene Kastens.Her grandchildren were the pride of her life, and she was always up for an adventure with them. She never missed one of their sporting events or school functions.She loved living on Black Creek, where in her younger days she enjoyed swimming and water skiing. She taught all her kids to water ski there and many family friends. She was an avid football fan, both college and professional. She never missed a Gator or Jaguar game on tv and attended many in person. Her viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 1 pm at Black Creek Methodist Church, 3925 Main Street, Middleburg, FL 32068, followed by a memorial service and burial at 2 pm.In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to www.ResidingHope.org, a Florida childrens home.Arrangements are under the care of Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home 1811 Idlewild Ave., Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
