Rana Haddad

With profound sadness, the Haddad Family announces the passing of Rana Haddad, who left them far too soon on Friday, August 29th 2025, at the young age of 47.

Born in Damascus, Syria, Rana is the cherished daughter of Khalil and Amira Al Amir (née Abouhanna). She was raised in Syria, surrounded by the love of family and tradition, before immigrating to the United States in 1989. She first made her home in Brooklyn afterward in Clifton and later settled in Woodland Park, N.J. For over 25 years, Rana was a dedicated member of the Amir Jewelry family in Washington Township. She was so loved and was so passionate about her career at Amir jewelry. She loved to go to work. She also enjoyed Praying, spending time with family and friends, shopping, going on walks, hosting, she loved life, was down to earth, caring, and nurturing to everyone around her. She loved life to the fullest extent. During her life and through her diagnosis she brought everyone closer to God. She was surrounded by all her loved ones during her last few days. She will be remembered as an amazing loving mother and wife.

Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her beloved husband, Maher Haddad; two cherished daughters, Joelle and Angelina Haddad, who were the light of her life; and her loving siblings, Hanin, Fadia, Bashar, and George Amir.

Family and friends are invited to honor her memory during visitation on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025, from 6-9 p.m. at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, Little Falls, N.J. A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd, at 11:00 a.m. at the church, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, N.J.
