Ranaldo Rameriz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jowett Funeral Home and Cremation Service & Reception Center - Port Huron on Jan. 27, 2026.
Ranaldo Rameriz, age 69 of Port Huron, passed away on January 26, 2026 peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and family devotion.

He was a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, whose greatest joy in life was spending time with those he loved especially his grandchildren.

Ranaldo had a lifelong love for sports and the outdoors. He enjoyed playing basketball in high school. He was proud to be a Marine City Mariner and also played softball later on with his team R&R Express. He could often be found fishing. Music was another passion of his, and he especially loved old R&B music. He also worked for the Marine City Nursery for many years, when he was younger, planting and moving trees. Family meant everything to Ranaldo, whether cheering from the sidelines, sharing stories, or simply being present, he cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren. His warmth, humor, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind an amazing life well lived and so many memories that will be treasured forever.

Ranaldo is survived by his brother, Gregorio (Kathy Green) Ramirez, Aldea (Thomas Olvera) Jimenez, his four children; Larry Wilson, Teresa (Andrew) Gambill, Celena Ramirez, and Ronni-Lynn (Jonathan Hinson) Ramirez, grandchildren; Jared Wilson, Lyric (Zach) Birtles, Brennen (Kirstyn) Monzo, Kamila Hinson, Mateo Ramirez, seven great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a wide circle of friends, who will forever remember his kind heart, his love of music and sports, and his unwavering dedication to family.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Manuela and Gregorio Ramirez, sisters; Yolanda Zuniga, and Agustina Sanchez, nephews; Daniel McRoberts, Henry Enrique "Rick" Sanchez, Louis "Louie" Ramirez and niece; Julie Sanchez and many more nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday – February 6, 2026 in the Jowett Funeral Home – 1634 Lapeer Ave., Port Huron from 1:00pm until 4:00pm.

Memorial contributions can be made to the wishes of the family.
